the universe – Fridays Off

the universe

So, a couple of years ago on a flight to Halifax, NS, I sat beside this woman (who has remained nameless) who was early 60s and on her way to NS to visit family. We chatted almost the entire flight (as you do when you're flying alone) and when we landed we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. Since that flight I have seen this woman several times and in varying places, including yesterday at O&B Canteen (the new restaurant at the TIFF Lightbox)!

Do you have these people in your life? People that you barely know but see everywhere? I've often wanted to go up to her, but she likely wouldn't remember me. It's like the universe is trying to tell me something or I'm supposed to connect with her in some way.

If you've ever read The Secret or if you're into the universal powers that be, you might like to sign up for emails from the "universe" at www.tut.com. It's a nice way to start your day and they can sometimes be insightful.

Thoughts become things so choose the good ones!
