Oil Spill #5, Q4000 drilling platform, June 24, 2010 by Edward Burtynsky (Chromogenic Print)

Today the hubs and I are off to check out Edward Burtynsky's latest Oil Spill exhibition at the Nicholas Metivier Gallery. This is a premiere exhibit in which he shows off his images taken of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico this summer. The exhibit is on until Saturday, October 9 so check it out before it's gone.

In the spirit of all things artsy, if you're up for Nuit Blanche (I'm not...I know, hard to please!) I suggest checking out the E Tower! All you do is text "energy" and your comments to 667242 and your contribution along with many others will change the colour of the lights on the CN Tower. Cool heh?

Enjoy your artful weekend.
